Born and raised in Chicago, Anjie Nero is a former worship leader with Shekinah Glory Ministry (SGM), known for her contagious energy, powerful sound, and heart for God’s people. She lent her voice to lead vocals on SGM’s “Clap Shout,” “I Need More,” “Worthy” (second lead), and “Trust Me,” and wrote several tracks, including “Clap Shout,” “I Need More,” and “Forever Praise.” Her work with SGM earned her RIAA Gold & Platinum Records.

Anjie’s gift has taken her across the U.S. and internationally to London, Canada, Barbados, and Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she recorded with Renascer Church and led vocals on “Santo é o Cordeiro.”

Though affectionately called the “Clap Shout Girl,” her journey as a solo artist showcases a deeply personal and unashamed praise to God. Through heartfelt music, she shares her gratitude and life experiences, aiming to touch hearts and empower spirits with every note.
